Draining the Swamp

This is the third novel in the Bernie Roper series and based upon actual events, but I've added a lot of creative bullshit

 Bernie and Astrid try to start a new life in Kelowna, BC, after returning from their disastrous boat cruise, during which Bernie accidentally kills his drug-driven crew member. (When the Dream Becomes a Nightmare). Bernie become successful after a few years of creative but unnecessarily hard word by a sociopathic dentist (Revenge is Best Savoured Slowly), but falls victim to several swindlers, a fantasy driven friend, a drug- addled lawyer, and a psychopathic physician.

 Facing financial ruin, he again uses his creativity and weird sense of humour in Draining the Swamp, while his past creative solutions continue to haunt him.
